-Omori, The Happy, Depressing, Interesting, Strange, and Scary game?- – (Video Games)-

5261d5a4e9c9db593e07ed6f778830c3_original.jpgAs I stumbled upon the internet, as I assume most people do, I decided to click on a Kickstarter game named Omori, the horror genre RPG game currently in the making.

After watching the trailer for Omori, which was released a week ago close to New Years day, I couldn’t resist but to research more about the game.

“Welcome to WHITE SPACE. Your name is OMORI and you’ve been living here for as long as you can remember. Everything is bright white; there aren’t any walls. A black lightbulb hangs from the ceiling… wherever it is. There’s a floor but it’s always cold. The warmest thing here is probably your laptop. You don’t mind though. You have a blanket, a laptop, a cat, a sketchbook, and a tissue box. You have everything you need.”

(Omori 2017 Edition Trailer)

What are my thoughts on the trailer itself? The game interests me. Not because of the nostalgic features of seeing a Pokemon replica of the exclamation mark (!), or the earthbound RPG-like mechanics, but just the weird, scary, and imaginative factor of the game. As much as I like happy story games as their own respective genre like Undertale, and horror genre specific games like Outlast, Omori doesn’t revolve around a happy, sad, depressing, or even horror factor. It’s more so of an insanity and “pure imagination” factor (Willy Wonka reference) that we’re seeing throughout the game (such as Omori going through a supposed haunted house, and just the surroundings that Omori sees when he adventures with his friend).  As we have Omori, the main character, finding out there’s someone important to him but forgot. “Your story is already over. You just have to remember it.” And with that quote in mind, the story itself and the gameplay shown, Omori’s definitely not in a normal world with a normal train of thought. It’s just tragically perfect.

laptop.gifWhat are my thoughts in general about the game? I’ve always been interested in games that included some sort of “insanity”, but it being in an interesting perspective (such as the “white space”, and finding out that Omori is actually just remembering what’s going on in his life to find out what’s so important to him). Even though we have somewhat of a cliched “depressed” main character, just looking at the game and looking at the expressions shown on Omori’s face and various scenario’s that he’s shown to be in, it makes me wonder what is even going on. Especially since the two official trailers released by Omori tended to be monstrous and extremely imaginative. And I like that kind of feeling. Being Scared, happy, interested in, just a bunch of mixed feelings that make us feel like that game is trying to make us feel “insane” by taking us through Omori’s perspective. And it’s just a pretty crazy game, and I’d definitely play the game myself.

But anyways, back on track. The music was just flawless, as it reminded me somewhat of a Studio Ghibli soundtrack, but yet a more adventurous and ominous soundtrack at the same time (the 2017 trailer). And it perfectly fitted the games adventurous feel, and as well as the craziness that occurs in Omori’s world.

As for characters, it seems the people along with Omori are quite cheerful people (which is pretty interesting, as Omori is more of a depressive character, but yet Omori hangs out with them just like friends), the NPC characters seem to be abnormal looking, and the enemies, they’re quite distorted and monstrous looking (which probably makes up around 75% why the game is going to be a horror rpg game). And the one thing that I can’t get enough about the game is, it’s unique and interesting scribbled artwork animation.

When we think about games, we always think about CGI animation, game sprites, 8/16-bit, etc type game art styles that are shown throughout a game (although the game is just that), just the mini cutscenes that are shown is most likely hand drawn, but drawn in its own interesting way, as they’re drawn as if using a crayon, or with colored pencil instead of a professionally drawn look or the generic high quality anime look (although there is references of “Otaku” culture within the game). Like for example, Undertale has cutscenes, but are in their own game sprites (same animation/not drawn out animation), but in Omori, they have game sprites, but their cutscenes are actually animated/I assume hand drawn. And regarding the cutscenes, they’re quite vibrant, as shown in the original trailer,   As for gameplay wise, they appear to have normal attack moves with some sort of heart beat monitor (in the new trailer that is),

If you have ever seen their official website, it’ll definitely give you a few spooks if you took the time to look around, as their website has some pretty interesting artwork (as in it’s pretty creepy and weird). But besides their art gallery, they do have some pretty interesting things such as the plot being told and as well as some updates that they may have displayed on their website. Check it out yourself at www.omori-game.com/.

I’m actually looking forward to this game. It really doesn’t look all that bad, and the plot itself is interesting. Well anyways, see you guys later, peace.

-“This Is How You Ward Off The Devil”; Day 23 Of An Otaku’s Life- – (Real Life)-

As my life in general like most days, I’m busy (apparently not too busy to write a blog post though). But anyways, here I am to talk about my life. “Wheres the Anime and Manga posts Mark?”, read sentence one of paragraph one of “-“This Is How You Ward Off The Devil”; Day 23 Of An Otaku’s Life- – (Real Life)-“. Finally back on topic again on actually talking about my life. My high school weirds me out, and in a good way, funny way, and in a cringy way (this can also apply to my Japanese class, and I guess you can figure out why. But most of the time their just joking around). And if you didn’t know, I dislike weeaboo’s (to an extent), but apparently the Japanese do not mind weeaboo’s. I found it pretty interesting.

Going back to how my school weirds me out; so one day, it was a Japanese class day and we did something called a radio exercise or something beyond on those lines. Then when we watched a video of a radio excercise and actually did the exercise. Then someone says, “this is how you ward off the devil- them evil spirits”, and I’m just laughing as I do the hilarious exercise (but it was quite refreshing to do the exercise, not going to lie).

And then the next day (which was a Friday, and the last day of the month of April ), our school did a prep rally (or something else, I can’t remember what they call it now a days). So basically, we were in our gym watching people being chosen to be prom queen and king, and even a dodge ball queen and king vs the dodge ball team (which the queen and king group lost with extreme hype). And then we get to see the football team in short shorts and what not (these are like buff guys), and I guess you know what goes on afterwards (if you don’t know; they were twerking). Then I just cringed pretty hard and the audience was just hyped. Then I left home happy because it was the weekend. So yeah, school was interesting (also I’m wondering on how the dance was even approved, but kay). Then on the lightspeed-go-karts-lasersame day, I went to a place called Lightspeed Go-Karts & Laser Tag (which is in Milwaukee Wisconsin, or for my foreign audience, it’s in the United States). I was invited by my younger cousin to go with him and with his church small group, and mainly played laser tag for 4 hours straight till 10PM. Not to mention the staff at Lightspeed were super friendly, and every staff member had their own kind of enthusiasm to them. But most importantly, laser tag! So basically me and my younger cousin played with a bunch of people (who weren’t that good, but some were fairly okay) for a while, and scouted the whole laser tag room. So there’s the top floor and the bottom floor, and for me it doesn’t matter were I go, because I know the room so well and how to shoot someones vest from far away. But for the new people, it was best for one team to be on the top floor, and most people on the bottom, would usually have a disadvantage. The advantages for the top floor is that, they can surround the whole room and have many places where they can shoot. Another advantage is that, their vests are hard to shoot, while the person on the bottom is fully vulnerable and is an easy target. The disadvantages of the top floor; although their vests are protected from certain angles, they can still be hit from reflected mirrors around the room, and even be hit in certain places of the room. So basically the the top floor likes to “camp” or stay in one spot the whole time, and usually the majority of one team, is”camping”. So what I usually do is hide as best I can, and shoot everyone on the top floor (I even made someone mad because of this, LOL!). So now to story time on me and my cousins laser tag experience. So basically me and my cousin were always teamed up (green vs reds, and we were team red most of the time), we would usually take over the top floor, and then split up. I would always take the lower floor because it’s more fun, and I like the challenge when people shoot me from the upper floor. So I noticed this group of family (quite violent I must say), and they were quite full of their selves and they scared a bunch of kids by yelling with intimidation. Such as, “FREEZE”, “I GOT CHU BOY”, “I SHOT YOU”. So I decided to play serious, and I ticked off most of the family with a friendly game of laser tag (vengeance without violence is a bliss 😛 ). I would mainly be behind one of the family members and shoot their backs (because it gives the most points), I would be very far from them and shoot from a distance, and I even shoot behind me without looking back (which is actually a good strategy, and call my nerdy for thinking that idea up if you want). Sometimes I would hide in the darkest spots, abuse my vest vulnerability by crouching behind a building and shooting them, and straightly move forward to them as they try to intimidate me. Then the next thing you know it, game over, and it was 10,000 green points- 20,000 red points. GG, get rekt. But seriously now, me and my cousin decided to be nice and told the family strategies, and from that point, everyone was mixed in different groups. (P.S, poor girl and her mom as the little girl said, “he sounds mad”, as her mom responded, “it’s okay”.). I also want to tell another laser tag story where me and my cousin faced against four foreign ladies, and let’s just say, me and my cousin got destroyed. This did not occur in the time when me and cousin were with his church small group, but this happened last year. So it was late at night, we maybe played a few more games before we went home, lightspeed1band we just see these four foreign ladies talking to each other (a language both me and cousin don’t know). So me and my cousin thought, hmm, they must be new to the game, this will be easy (because most people who were new, were pretty bad). So it was me, my cousin, and my cousins cousin, against these four ladies. As we entered the door, me my cousin and my cousins cousin, stayed on the upper level, while I stayed downstairs. And I can remember what my cousins cousin was saying, “hey, we should all camp up here”, and I was like “nah, I’ll stay downstairs” (big mistake on my part). So all three of us are literally puzzled, as we do not know where these ladies were, and I’m just like, “well then” (keep in mind that the room is not super big, but it’s medium sized). So the game started, and the next thing you know it, my cousin and his cousin was already shot on the top floor, and I tried to flank the ladies as I saw their lasers (they were upstairs where my cousin and my cousins cousin). (For the sake of making this story less confusing for my cousin and my cousins cousin, I’m just going to say cousins for of them.). So there are two ways I can go upstairs, and lets say, the top floor is in the middle of the room. There’s the left side of the top floor, and theirs the right side of the top floor (just noticed that this would also be confusing, as who knows which is your right and which is your left, or which is left and which is your right. At this point, I’m purposely making this confusing). So anyways, let’s just say I went up stairs, right. And I saw two of them and shot both of them, but I was shot from my back and it was coming from the bottom floor. Then me being me, I went back downstairs (bad mistake). So I went downstairs, and I meet my other cousins as well. I also see that all four ladies went upstairs, and we pretty much got destroyed. We did have a comeback, as simply me and my cousins were camping downstairs and hiding ourselves, but we lost the game anyways. Always note to your self, take the top floor of the room (when it comes to the place Lightspeed that is). But enough of stories, I want to discuss some Anime and Manga’s I’ve watched/read.

ZZ16828CD3Although I have stopped watching Anime for a while, I started to get the hang of it again by watching One Piece (where I’m on the Dressrosa Arc), and now I’m watching an Anime classic movie, Akira! Believe it or not, I always wanted to watch the Movie Akira, but I just keep forgetting to watch it. The only reason I remembered Akira was because of it’s awesome and iconic looks of the photo on the right, and because of Kayne West’s song, “Stronger”, as it references iconic scenes from Akira.

Also believe it or not, I listened to the song “Stronger” first from Daft Punk, then I remembered Kayne’s song, “Stronger”. But back on Animes and what not; One Piece! I honestly got mad when Luffy and his crew just kept saying dumb jokes and quit watching the Anime. But then I came back and watched One Piece, and just wow; it only gets better. Freaking Luffy and Trafalglar Law is BAD DAS (ROOMU! るうむ!). And of course I just encountered one of my most favorite villain theme songs, which is Ceaser Clown’s Theme. I just love how creepy and eery the theme song is, and I entirely like the gas sound effects that Ceaser Clown makes. Now, I won’t spoil anything that happens in One Piece.

(Ceaser Clown’s Theme)

(And if you already watched One Piece, or don’t care at all about spoilers; Trafaglar Law’s abilities)

But now to Manga’s! Or should I say manga? I just started to read Black Butler! (which I’m sure I said this before.). And the only reason I came to read Black Butler is because I saw a total Bad Das Elizibeth/Lizzy Manga photo on Facebook, and I was thinking to my self, “I HAVE TO READ THIS ASAP”! As usual, for the Anime and Manga, there different (which I started to notice a lot more often when watching and reading the Anime and Manga). So anyways, I won’t get into details on what’s different, but let’s get to my thoughts on it. So, Black Butler is just great! It gives a lot more information about the characters, the plot, ya da ya da ya da, the usual (if you haven’t seen my blog posts before, I always say that the Manga has the most information than the Anime). But anyways, let’s just say that Sebation is more a total Bad Das in the Manga than in the Anime.

That’s pretty much the main difference between the Anime and the Manga (also, Black Butler Season 2 the Anime did not come from the Manga). But that’s all I had to say about Anime’s and Manga’s, so just listen to Black Butler songs.

So that’s all I had to say guys. I had a good weekend, and sorry if I haven’t been blogging for a while. So see you guys later, peace!

-Sick With The Flu! Day 22, Of An Otaku’s Life- -(Real Life)

download (2)

Well this sucks. I’m sick with the flu (as the title already says it). It wasn’t the most pleasant Spring break (that happened a week a ago), as I was feeling dizzy, felt like sitting down, and the feeling of extreme dehydration (and of course, a bunch more symptoms). But I’m feeling a lot more better (but my body still feels a bit sucky from this sickness). My parents went to Florida, and as well as my sister, and I was sitting home watching T.V being sick (and I wanted to stay home anyways). And to top it off, I was sick on Easter (which is probably the most times I’ve been sick on any holiday). Although it was Spring break, I did go to my Aunts wedding, and got to hang out with a bunch of cousins that came from Minnesota and some that live near me. And I had fun! I 100%, without a doubt, approve my new Uncle, cause he’s pretty cool, funny, and a nice guy. So I guess the wedding was pretty good. But now that I have nothing to talk about when it comes to my life, let’s talk about Anime and Manga’s.

55784984Over the weekend, I watched One Punch Man.“OMG MARK, YOUR A WEEABOO”, NoNoNo, my brother forced me to watch it. So don’t blame me for being a Weeaboo. One Punch Man was decent. It had quite funny scenes, and literally every person can be killed with his one punch (which is why the Anime is called One Punch Man). As much as I liked the humor and fight scenes and what not, I just can’t stop hearing my brother commentating every scene, and keep on telling me why this Anime is awesome. My brother is literally the type of guy that’ll make you mad because he’s an extreme Weeaboo. But now then. Let’s talk about the current chapters of Tokyo Ghoul:RE (Spoilers) “OMG MARK, YOUR A WEEABOO”. KANEKI! It’s time for blood shed in this Manga (after so many boring scenes later. And I like how people are butt hurt when they found out that Kaneki’s hair wasn’t permanently red, LOOL)! But back on topic, Kaneki goes to the ghoul jail, and frees Hinami (YES)! And later on, Touka is revealed, and some story regarding Touka was shown (which was meh in my opinion). And after freeing Hinami, Kaneki just pushes an investigator away like it’s nothing (like a boss). Now I have nothing else to read (R.I.P).

Let’s talk about Video Games; I did have time to play games, believe it or not. I had the time to play Old School Runescape (where I die a lot in the wilderness), play Combat Arms (Videos are not yet uploaded), and Counter Strike Global Offensive (finally leveled up to Silver 1). If you guys ever play OSRS, and have membership, message me in game (if I’m online). We can play DeadManMode and destroy everyone :D! If you play Combat Arms or CSGO, give me a message. Combat Arms, (Combat_Asian). CSGO (Steam, MarkYaaj). The only times I actually had time to play games, were the first day of break, and the last day of break. Not too much time, but that’s alright.

358_UltimaniaAnything else before I go? Nooope. But I will be posting my Kingdom Hearts 358/2Days Manga thoughts sooner or later, so look out for that! Also, sorry for such a short post, and as for not posting in literally a week (it was a break, and I was sick, so I guess that’s my excuse lol). But anyways, see you guys later, peace!

-When Spring Finally Sprouts- – Day 21 Of An Otaku’s Life- – (Real Life)

It’s finally that time again guys, SPRING! Well for me that is (sorry to anyone else that still gets snow). I can’t tell if this week was just full of stress or just full of fun. But when spring comes along, all I want is spring break or summer. And when the breaks come along, I just want to lay on my bed, crack open a window, let the breeze flow through me, see the sun, see the slow swaying tree in front of my bed and window, and just listen to birds while I’m laying there (yes, I do, do this. It’s my most favorite thing to do in the summer time). The only thing that’s wrong with summer is family time. Just too much family time while I’m at it. Either it’s me being at my grand parents’ farmers market till 4AM-4PM on every single Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, or my family going on 6-10 hour trips where we do nothing but sleep in a hotel and pay a lot of money for the hotel. All though you may think of me as lazy, I’m not (I can go on and on as to what I do that you’d probably want/don’t want to do 🙂 ). But anyways, family is a hassle, and school is stressful yet fun. Let’s get to what I’ve done this week.

My High School Life; As Valentines day passed and a lot of people were receiving flowers (from a high school Valentines service), it was just another day to feel quite lonely. There was no one my type at the school that I was at (So don’t ask me to go look for a girl friend), and all I was thinking was about my past Valentines days (maybe I’m too picky). And when it came to my most favorite, and probably my only happiest Valentines day, it was the day I actually had a Valentines. My first and only you can say. Enough of talking about sappy stories, it’s Spring, not the day of depression full of thoughts. (But it makes me happy to remember such great memories. I bet you want know don’t you? Too bad :p ). Now back to my actual high school life; my grades were quite good last week, but this week, I have a 3.0 (Can’t tell if I should be proud or not). I’m still getting used to my new classes, but I hate all of my new classes (they make it sound fun but it’s really not). I still enjoy the classes that I’m still in (College prep English, College prep Social Studies, and Biology. Definitely the best teachers in my opinion). I know my current classes sound hard, but it really isn’t (courses that are called A.P, are the ones that are hard. But challenge your self and do an A.P course). And although my grades may be low, it’s because we get extremely strict and specific things called (can’t remember the name, but has specific things you need to do), which makes it hard to get an A/4. I even hear teachers saying I would give my kids higher grades for what they did, but because of this grading thing a ma-jig, it’s hard for the students to get an A or a high grade. While I hear those words from some teachers, that just made me mad as a student (because I hate the grading). Like, let’s say for example, math class. I write down the answer, and get downgraded very hard for not showing the formula or equation (or they want you to write it in a specific way. Like seriously, who cares what way I write it). I freaking answered the question, and does it even matter if I show the equation when I already have the answer!? But I mean, I also hate some teachers for literally doing nothing and not teaching the class anything. They give you an assignment, maybe a video at best on how to do it, and the video and the assignment are two different things. I know as a high school student, that it’s my responsibility to know what assignments I have to do and to also read directions, but if you don’t know where the directions are to do the assignment, then just what the heck!? I guess no matter where you go, there will always be that one lazy teacher or many. Since I’m talking about me hating on a lot of people (hates a bad word, yes I know), let me talk about rowdy (annoying/noisy/trouble makers) students. I really like my school, and I some what like my education (because of teachers), but you’ll always find that one idiocy kid, narcissist kid, racist kid, and wanna be ghetto kid in every school (please note my school is suburban). I can’t tell if I was put in a class full of them on purpose, or that I was just lucky enough to be with them. And no matter what race any one was, there are always those arrogant and superior race thoughted kids, and ignorant kids. In my opinion, some people just need to just shut up because no race is Superior. It’s also sad to look at my own race making fun of their selves, and it just disgusts me. I’m a person who can joke around, but my race will never be discouraged or dishonored, and my race included will not make fun it self as well (like seriously, have dignity in your own culture). And talking about wanna be ghetto kids, they know nothing about the ghetto, and I dare them to stay in the true ghetto to see who’s real though (some of my family lived in the ghetto, and it’s not the best place to be around). Some people are just naive. Sorry guys, just noticed that I was complaining a bit too much. So I’ll just stop right here and talk about my life 🙂 .

My Life; the sun is here, and so is the blue soaring skies! FINALLY, SPRINGS COMING NEAR! I did have some fun last week, but I’d rather not explain what happened (seriously, don’t ask). But I did play a lot of Old School Runescape during my weekend, and I can’t remember if I played CSGO (Counter Strike Global Offensive) during the week. I read the current chapters of Tokyo Ghoul:RE, and I continued to read NG Life (The feels). I can’t remember too much as to what I’ve done over the weekend, but this is just an update on my life, I guess you can say. Sorry that I couldn’t find anything interesting to tell!

But anyways guys! See you guys later, have a good and soon to come Spring, peace!

-Isshuukan Friends/One Week Friends- – Manga/My Thoughts So Far-

image

Isshuukan Furendo Kawaii deska/ いしゅかん ふれんど ですか。(Is One Week Friends cute)? HECK YEAH IT’s KAWAII (Sorry if I got that sentence incorrect. I have a feeling I was supposed to add “No” after Friend, but oh well. Japanese Grammar)!

If you’ve been an old follower of mine, you would know I watched the Anime Isshuukan Friends, or the English name, One Week Friends. I’ve always wanted to read Isshuukan Friends (because it’s been on my phone for over 5 months that tells me to read it), and I wanted to know if there was more information or more back stories that happens in the Manga.

imageJust what the heck is Isshuukan Friends? (only if you don’t know what it is). Isshuukan Friends is about a high school boy Hase, and a high school girl named Fujimiya (I won’t spoil what their relationship towards each other are). Although by the first sentence it may sound cliche, but just roll with it. Then the main character Hase meets Fujimiya, and asks to be Fujimiya’s friend. As time progressed, Fujimiya tells Hase about her condition (mini spoilers, but if you don’t really care, read on), she loses her memories of only her friends every week. But as for Hase, and as each week passes by, ” Fujimiya! Will you be friend”!

My Thoughts So Far About Isshuukan Friends (Spoilers); Like I said before, this Manga is pretty cute, and as the Manga progressed from literally chapter 2 to chapter 3, I just wanted to shout out so badly for the main characters to just KISS! COME ON! Hase even friend zones Fujimiya at one point, like COME ON, ARE YOU SERIOUS! I’m just deeply in a huge hatred for who ever created Isshuukan Friends. Also they freaking tease us with Fujimiya and Hase with fireworks and saying “I LOVE… FIREWORKS” – imageFujimiya Kaori(I’m about to flip a freaking table so badly)! Well, anyways, a great Manga as usual though! As I keep on reading, the only differences that I found regarding the Anime and Manga are the different types of art styles. Yes I know, “what you mean Mark”? What I mean is, the Anime has all of the characters to have the same body shapes, but the Manga always switches on what they look like (sorry if I’m not saying it clear enough). Although I find it funny that some of the times in the Manga, I really liked on how it’s just more serious in the Anime. And as I continued on reading the Manga, I did not find too much different things from it. The only things that were different was art style and pretty much Fujimiya crying a lot (I guess Fujimiya cries a lot in the Anime too right)? But I mean it’s pretty funny most of the time when ever she cries in the Manga (It’s not funny when it gets serious. Obviously). But instead of these two main characters; just freaking Kiyruu! His seriousness is just too funny, and the way he gets used by Hase and get’s scolded from him is just hilarious. Although I like the character Kiyruu, I feel some what relatable towards him. But anyways yeah, Kiyruu is a pretty great character.

But as for the story goes, how well do I like it? I enjoy it! What’s a great Shoujou story without a tear jerking conflict right? As I’ve said before in my different posts, Isshuukan Friends has a pretty original story and it is definitely not another cliche Anime/Manga. With that being said, I truly love this Manga! If I could rate Isshuukan Friends, I’d give it a 7/10. The story is appropriately funny, it’s not cliche, it’s some what tear jerking, and most importantly, a good story.

So anyways guys, thank you for reading my post. See you guys later, peace!

-Spring’s Coming Near So Is Valentines Day!? School/Current Life, ETC. Day 20, Of An Otaku’s Life- -(Real Life)-

Man, this snow is never going to leave! But on the bright side, I get to hear the most wonderful sound in the world; birds singing in the morning. Man, after reading Romeo and Juliet, I just feel poetic for some reason (and this make me feels like a weeaboo, but in an English poetry way). And damn it, Friar, what’s his name (not Friar Lawrence), for not finding and sending that mail to Romeo (Spoilers). But anyways, snow is melting and I can see some grass (but the skies are still so gloomy. Woe is me, bite thou thumb at yonder cause aye a weeaboo. -Shakespeare Just kidding Just kidding). Valentines day is coming near, and it’s another year to watch depressing Animes (which I’ll probably never have time to), and declare on being single another year, or be valentineless (remember, being nice doesn’t mean flirting. Unless it’s pretty obvious). Talking about the topic on Valentines day, what was your most favorite Valentines day (you the viewer)? I have to admit this but, my most favorite Valentines day was in the 5th Grade. Who doesn’t like Elementary Valentines day right? Watch a movie, eat snacks, hang out with friends, and just have some laughs (you don’t technically have to have a Valentine to have good Valentines day, am I right)? Good times, but too bad I’m writing this post about nostalgic memories, and most of my greatest of friends are scattered across different schools. Oh well, 5th grade was also my most depressing and happiest school year (Dang it hormones).

imageOff from talking about the weather and American holidays, I actually had some fun in my 2nd semester of Highschool (pretty much, newer classes and newer schedules to do things). In my Japanese class, we wrote calligraphy (in Kanji hand writing. Which I did not learn nor know how to write, but was given a sheet to show me how to write the meaning of the words). During that class, I tried opening a jar of Indian ink, and I guess you understand what would happen in that instance. But it was still a fun and relaxing experience (It was quite relaxing, because my Japanese teacher was playing some sort of calming music in the background, lol). But as for my newer classes like my Survey of Tech, I got to Photoshop my face onto a hundred dollar bill (LOL). Later on; so I was looking at a projector screen, and saw a Photoshopped face of the Survey of Tech’s teacher. It was just too priceless! If only you guys saw it. As for school currently, everything is going fine, my homework is being done quickly, and it’s pretty much the beginning of my 2nd semester. Who knows what will happen later on in my 2nd semester, but I always look for the worst more than the best (pretty much my reverse psychology for motivation). But anyways, my school is pretty awesome as usual.

What Happened in my Life Currently; I really have to thank my cousin and uncle for taking me to a place called, Mt Olympus, and it was imagelocated in Wisconsin Dells. It’s a water park, and an amusement park, but most of the cool stuff there like roller coasters, outdoor water parks, outdoor shops and outdoor food areas were closed. The only thing that was open was the indoor water park, and it wasn’t all that packed or busy (which was pretty awesome). But on my journey to Wisconsin Dells, me and my cousin got to go to a sledding place, and the hills were pretty huge (it was a pretty decent height). But I had to admit that the sledding area’s food tastes really bad, and it’s definitely not worth 6 bucks for the burger that I ate (You can literally buy a burger patty from the store and leave it in the oven burnt, and it would probably still taste better than the burger that I ate at the sledding/ski/ski board resort. No joke). They could’ve added some spices into their food at least (Seriously, it’s not that hard. If you ever saw bar rescue, that’s what they should be on). But after sledding for a straight two hours or so, we went to a pretty fancy buffet restaurant. Although the place smelt like smoke (there was even a no smoke sign ironically), I’m just glad it didn’t smell in the buffet area. It was located at Ho-Chunk Casino (no we did not go gambling), and I got to eat two freshly made cheesecake slices (cheesecake is my most favorite desert), including many tasteful foods there. But I think it costed around 25 dollars per person, and I was not all that hungry. So yeah. Then we went swimming at the Mt Olympus indoors resort (went on the lazy river, went on tube slides with my cousin, and the most important part of the resort; swimming. WOW)! Then me and my cousin slept on a bunk bed. The next morning, we went swimming again at the same place, and we went on the body slides and hot tub. After swimming, we went to another Mt Olympus area, which was the arcade room (too bad it wasn’t an old school arcade room). But yeah, I got to play Lasertag. which was fun, and I got to play a crane machine game, and won three sunglasses (on my first try, I got two at once. Then my second try, I got one for my cousin). As me and my cousin were playing Lasertag I was in 4th place, my cousin was in 2nd place, and a teenage girl got 1st place. But I won’t complain (I swear I shot so many people in that game, I’m surprised). It was definitely worth 5 bucks for 10 minutes. Then we left Wisconsin Dells, then I was dropped off at my house, and I was feeling home sick. Then I enjoyed my whole week end playing video games.

Now I’m all done talking about my life, let’s talk about Otaku (Weeaboo) things! I finally finished Soul Eater!  FOR FUUUUUUING SAKES, CRONA! MAKA! EVERYONE OF SOUL EATER! OH MY FREAKING GOSH!!!!!!!! (“Everyone, lend me your strength” -Goku. Insert 9000Meme here). Soul Eater was depressing, and pretty (Literally) bad das. And now I’m all out of Mangas to read. Oh well, time to find a new Manga series. And if you wondering why I’m not writing any Anime posts, it’s because I’m too busy to watch Anime and I only have time to read Manga and play games (maybe playing video games is an excuse to watching Anime). As for now, I’m still reading Tokyo Ghoul:RE and I’m now continuing on to read the rest of reading Isshuukan Friends/One Week Friends. (Photo on the right is from Isshuukan Friends).

Video Games; I just started to play one of my old games, Tekken 5, and I also played CSGO (Counter Strike Global Offensive), and also just got back into playing Minecraft (well at least back to raiding). If you guys ever want to play video games with me, here you go;

Steam Username: Mark Yaaj (I have Kaneki as my in game photo)

                                                                                                                     Minecraft Name: MinecraftsJR

                                                                                                                                                                              Minecraft Server: WrathPVP

                                                                                                                Minecraft I.P: Play.WrathPVP.com

But anyways, I finally had time to play games on the weekend, and like I’ve said countless times before, I’ve probably been too busy to do anything lately (as I’m referring to family things or School related things). And if you want to test my skills, go ahead and play a game with me. Ha! I’m a PC gamer by the way, not a console gamer. Off from this, I was playing CSGO. I played probably 4 or 5 games, and there were a lot of racists and narcissistic 7 year olds everywhere in this game, but that’s CSGO at it’s finest (jokingly). At one point, a younger person called me a weeaboo, and started saying quite racial things, and our team lost from 3-16. After playing a few more games, I came across some pretty good team mates, and we played fluently. We had great communication and a really positive attitude (and we had sucky opponents, so yeah). So we basically did well. I think we had 16-10, or something like that. Then the next game, we tied. Then the next game, things just went down hill. And in each game, we have to play with different people (if you didn’t know about CSGO). Most of the time, you would be paired up a different group of people, and be against another group of other people (which I was playing competitive, a more stricter game mode). When ever I play this game you will always hear, “PICK UP THE AWP! NO PICK UP THE AWP! WHAT ARE YOU DOIGNNASASDKGJASLd”! OH MY GOD YOU (insert CSGO Meme here)! #WanaBe7YearOldMLGnext360No_Scoper. I hear that all the time by every single age, even adults. Sometimes it’s pretty sad to see adults being narcissist like 7 year olds in this game as well (some times it’s funny, and sometimes it’s annoying). But as for every single Silver 1 (the first rank of CSGO), their logic for gun choices are always to grab the awp. Example, there’s an awp right in front of me. Someone screams at me to pick up the awp. Then there’s an AK-47 next to me. *Enemy enters*, the enemy is close by. Same person screams, “PICK UP THE AWP, OH MY GOD”! CSGO logic by Silver 1’s. Yeah, I really hate kids (4-12 year olds) on CSGO, but not every single of them. (R.I.P CSGO headphone players).

As for Minecraft; if you didn’t know, I’m an oldschool Minecraft factions raider. I outlived two popular raiding servers (and also one regular building server), and always had my most known throughout the servers partner in crime (in game), and wrecked havoc on everyone in the server (most of the time it’s just us two being teamed up. Pretty much Us vs the World). But yeah, raiding is fun in Minecraft, it’s pretty extreme when you play it for the first time. If you don’t know what Minecraft is, or what raiding on Minecraft is, I won’t explain it, because both are actually a simple yet complicated concept. (I outlived CowCraft.com, and WrathPVP.com, but they’re still alive but with little members left). In Wrathpvp and CowCraft, I wasn’t all that popular, but the person that I was partnered with was pretty much known from literally everyone (R.I.P me). But Wrathpvp, there were more notorious factions than just us two, and more popular and stronger people than us. In CowCraft, we basically just owned the whole server (R.I.P me again, I wasn’t all that popular), and my friend was considered as a “Legend” and he was literally placed as a legend on the board of legends on that Minecraft server (“I cri erry time”. A popular quote from my friend who would say this as a joke). And I believe there were over 100+ people when CowCraft was in it’s prime. Instead of my long back story, I came back to play WrathPVP. I was bored, and got tired of looking for different faction raiding servers to join (you literally have to pay to win to play factions nowadays in over 100’s of popular Minecraft servers). I really enjoy raiding and factions, but servers are just too O.P or too boring and repetitive (also a lot of hackers like SaicoPVP).

I was raided twice due to x-ray, and I was given a response from an admin or mod saying “sorry, but please show proof” and, “we do not have the plugin to find the x-rayer, sorry”. And here’s proof as to how many hackers Saico has from the famous youtuber CreepersEdge (While he plays on SaicoPVP).

I think half of my blog post has just been me complaining about video games (sorry about that). So anyways, that’s all that I had talk about, I did so much things this whole month, and I hope you guys enjoyed my post. So see you guys later, peace! (Another lonely Valentines day huh? Yeah. I cri erry time 😉 ).

-Exams Week/ Life-Day 19, Of An Otaku’s Life – (Real Life)-

Exams are going to SUUUCK (but in a good way). I’ve always been busy in my life, but here I am! I’m writing a blog post.

Anyways, life is the same as any other day, so nothing significant really came (besides my exams). My grades are pretty much the same (2.5 G.P.A), and I’m still the same old, same old, school busy Mark. As for my exams; teachers and students confuse me, and including that I have a schedule about my exams as well, makes me more messed up. So you have the teachers saying, “your having an exam or not having an exam”, and same with the students. Not mention that I have a schedule that says, “Exams Review and Exams ” for every day on my exams week schedule. JUST WHAT THE HECK!? So I got exams or not? I don’t even know anymore. At least I get half days this whole week (meaning, half of the school day).

3129d844ff8ae37599f980b316c39d02Life besides school; as I was studying for my exams, all that I heard was food related things (I was in the basement). So as I went upstairs, I just saw homemade beef and cheese fries, homemade powdered donuts balls, homemade crepes, and a homemade calzone (that clazone though right)? I so freaking excited that day (infact it was just yesterday lol). Thanks to my Mom and Sister for making such delicious foods(and my sisters cooking classes are really showing something as well). As I was studying Japanese for my Japanese exams, I studied how to introduce my self, and I had to study the whole Hirigana and Katakana Writing (which wasn’t so bad). Then I started to study on other things for my exams. I noticed I wasn’t doing chores for around like a few months (well, I still do some chores to keep homework off my mind I guess), and for once, my siblings did some chores or what not (pretty much in a lazily and resistant way). Just wait until it’s summer; flipping jeez. IT”S FAMILY TIME! Well I guess that’s the life of Mark Yang until he’s 22 years old (which is in 7-8 years). Living the dream guys 🙂 .

I just watched some of my old videos on my blog posts because I got bored, and I then I just saw a Kenshin AMV, and I was just thinking; hype! Of course I was listening to other AMV’s too like Soul eater, and I watched some scenes from soul eater and listened to some of their opening and ending songs. (I watched Maka and Crona become friends on youtube. The feels on that video). I almost forgot; I also listened to Monochrome no Kiss from Black Butler; THE NOSTALGIA! For some reason, I want to be a weeaboo and rewatch soul eater and Kenshin Trust and Betrayal (“My Name is Shinta””Shinta; it’s too chilidish of a name for a swordsman. From now on, your name is; Kenshin”. Or somewhere beyond those lines). But as for Anime and Manga, I have nothing else to read or watch (turns out, Sekai Oni had 101 Chapters instead of a 1000). I also just got done reading chapter 60 on Tokyo Ghoul :RE, and man; it took freaking two weeks for it come out! But I’m not complaining. I’m just glad a chapter came out at least. I also just got done reading the current Bokura Wa Minna Kawaisou, and I’m already sick of reading it, because it doesn’t show Usa or Kawai (finish that Arc already; I want to see some action)! So anyways, that’s all I really had to say about that. Just listen to some music or something down below.

Soul Eater, Black Paper Moon “When you’re lost, here I am”:

Soul Eater, Strength:

Kenshin Trust and Betryal, In The End AMV:

Black Butler, Monochrome No Kiss:

So anyways guys, good luck on your Exams if your a Highschooler like me, and see you guys later; peace!

Good Luck Kaitlin!
